Day 16: 100 Days Without Sweets (Sticking to my routine)
Check it off, day 16 is in the books.
Each day of my 100 day challenge I complete I’m feeling better about my decision to start the challenge in the first place.
Some days are definitely more difficult than others, but for the most part I have a routine and I stick to it.
Eating during the week is much easier because I’m working, my time is occupied, and I’m not sitting around home with food all around me.
I believe strongly in putting yourself in the right environment to have success. This isn’t easy for everyone, but it’s essential.
Being around motivated and fit people all day has a tremendous influence on me. Healthy eating, exercising, and staying fit is the norm for many of these people – you can’t help but want to do the same.
How did day 16 turn out for me? Take a look:
- 5:30 a.m. 5 Eggs, Pepper-Jack Cheese, Spinach
- 11:00 a.m. 8 oz. Chicken, Broccoli, Apple
- 4:00 p.m. 8 oz. Chicken, Almonds
- 8:00 p.m. 1 Cup Oats, Whey Protein Powder, Almonds, Blueberries
Even though I’ve been eating many of the same foods over and over again I’m still not sick of them.
I’ve actually really been enjoying them still.
I test out different seasonings on my chicken and as far as eggs go they are just delicious. Honestly, I could eat eggs every day (And for the most part I have).
What will day 17 bring? Who knows, but I’m happy with how far I’ve come and continuing to move forward.
