Day 19: 100 Days Without Sweets (A little bump in the road)
Day 19 of my 100 day challenge was a strange one.
I’m not sure exactly why, but recently I’ve been very hungry. Like, very very hungry.
Not necessarily in the mornings, but by the early afternoon and evening I tend to get really hungry.
In the past I’ve been able to handle this, choose better foods, and eat healthy. Recently, not so much.
I realize this is just how life goes. For me, just like anyone, I have bad habits to break.
Eating too many sweets is something I’ve struggled with in the past and I’m working on this with my 100 day challenge, but I also need improve my other food choices and control how much I’m eating. I find myself still in the “eat anything you want” mode I was in during my athletics career.
Day 19 was a little bump in the road of lifelong healthy eating, but it’s just one day. Here is how it went:
- 4:00 a.m. 4 Eggs, Colby Jack Cheese, Spinach
- 7:45 a.m. Chicken, Broccoli
- 10:00 a.m. Almonds
- 1:00 p.m. 1 Cup Oats, Almonds, Whey Protein, Blueberries, Cinnamon Raisin Bagel w/Peanut Butter, Lucky Charms
- 7:30 p.m. Turkey and Ham Sandwich, 2 PB & J Sandwiches, Cottage Cheese
Not the greatest of eating days for me with all of the bread as well as cereal, but these days happen.
Today, I’m working to improve.
Have you started your own 100 day challenge yet?
If so, how is it going?
