Day 21: 100 Days Without Sweets (Lucky Charms and Cinnamon Toast Crunch)
Prior to starting this 100 day challenge I knew I liked eating cereal.
Lucky Charms and Cinnamon Toast Crunch are two of my absolute favorites and, without eating cookies, brownies, and ice cream, I’ve resorted to eating cereal at times.
Day 21 was another one of those times.
Now, I know that cereal can be sweet, has a fair amount of sugar, and isn’t the healthiest, but I’m still going to allow it for this challenge.
By no means do I intend on eating cereal every day (Though I know I easily could), but from time to time I’ll have it and enjoy it to the fullest.
On day 21 I ate my two favorite cereals and loved them!
Here’s what day 21 looked like:
- 8:15 a.m. 4 Eggs, Pepper-Jack Cheese, Ham
- 1:45 p.m. 2 Italian Sausages (With Buns), 1 Chicken Sandwich
- 8:00 p.m. Cereal (Cinnamon Toast Crunch and then Lucky Charms)
Even though I’m going 100 days without eating some of my favorite foods, I still believe that you shouldn’t completely deprive yourself of foods you enjoy
Of course, controlling the frequency of which you have certain foods is important for health and weight management, but that doesn’t mean you can’t have them on occasion.
Through my 100 day challenge I continue to learn more and more about my food habits, good and bad, and how I can control the way I eat.
From that perspective alone, this 100 day challenge has been a huge success for me thus far.
There’s still lots for me to learn about my habits and a long ways to go in my challenge, but I’m enjoying the journey so far.
